Passionate about improving patient quality of life, he actively explores new approaches in pain management and overall well-being. Danie is also an avid reader of philosophy, psychology, and fiction.

Lizelle Kilian

Lizelle Kilian holds a Diploma in General Nursing and brings over a decade of nursing experience across various divisions, including shift leadership. She is recognized for her strong leadership capabilities and her deep sense of compassion, empathy, and dedication to both patient care and professional collaboration.

Currently serving as a Clinical Specialist at Painworx, Lizelle operates on a national scale, overseeing key clinical and sales operations. Her role includes leading and mentoring the sales team, providing strategic guidance, setting and achieving sales targets, developing sales strategies, analyzing market data, and optimizing sales territories. With a strong commitment to excellence, she is dedicated to driving growth, fostering innovation, and building high-performing teams.

Henli Gouws graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy. Her career has spanned both private clinical practice and the corporate environment, where she worked extensively as a disability assessor. This dual exposure has given her a well-rounded understanding of how health conditions impact not just physical well-being, but also daily function and work capability. Henli is driven by a deep passion to improve quality of life, and she is particularly interested in the relationship between medical conditions and a person’s ability to engage meaningfully with their work and surroundings.

With 17 years of experience in the medical field, including the pharmaceutical industry, Engela has developed extensive expertise across multiple specialties, including analgesics and pain management.
Throughout her career, she has built strong professional relationships with a wide range of medical specialists, including anesthetists, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons and pain specialists.

Since 2023 she has focused on the surgical field, supporting specialists in the operating theatre during radiofrequency ablation (RFA) procedures and patient monitoring.
